CO2 Laser Resurfacing
While cosmetic procedures such as an eyelid, forehead or facelift improve skin laxity and reshape the deeper structures they do not significantly reduce the surface lines which results from aging, smoking, or sun damage. Only skin resurfacing techniques specifically address this area of forehead, facial and eyelid aging.
Laser resurfacing is the latest state-of-the-art technique to minimize facial skin wrinkles, irregularities, and blemishes. The extremely precise CO2 laser beam accurately vaporizes away the irregular skin surface, layer by layer, until a more even level is safely reached. A smoother, new skin surface then regenerates over the next five to ten days. The pink, healthy (sunburn) appearance of the new, finer skin fades back to normal color over the next few months. Until that process is completed, special camouflage makeup can be used if desired.
